6 May 2021
I’ll be setting up a little sewing station in chapel arts on Thursday 6th may where I will be cutting out and making my cotton jersey gloves. I’ve been screen printing the fabric in the textile studio in Stroud using hand cut paper stencils and pigment dyes, my most recent design is inspired by a flowering succulent plant on my bathroom windowsill. My gloves lightweight, washable and an elegant addition to anyone’s wardrobe!
There are a selection of pairs in the gallery as well as the ones I’ll be making on the day.
20 May 2021
I design unusual textiles from finest rare fibres, woven by hand, for wearable and interior pieces.
I plan to demonstrate ways to create table ware from multiple yarns.
