Village Produce Show
Arts & Crafts - Village Produce Show
Take part in the “Village Produce Show” , an interactive installation designed by Guild member and International knitwear designer, Sue Bradley.
Sue will offer drop in vegetable making activities for all ages, daily between 10.30 am and 4.30 pm
Enthusiastic makers may wish to donate their vegetable to the mystery fundraising raffle for disadvantaged groups.
Leading into Crafts Alive at Rodmarton Manor, the Gloucestershire Guild of Craftsmen has developed the unique ‘Village Produce Show’ as a major educational project, supporting education in crafts.
We have designed the project as a far-reaching online craft resource and an introduction to craft skills for Primary & Secondary Schools, for teaching staff and for Professional Development. We have also included Community Groups, Youth Groups, adults suffering recent job losses due to the pandemic, homeless and addiction recovery organisations.
All participants are encouraged to bring their entries to ‘The Village Produce Show’ at Crafts Alive at Rodmarton Manor 8-12th September, to be photographed and entered into our online gallery and colourful interactive installation.
Artist Bill Jones has been commissioned to produce all of the charming cartoons for our online activity packs.
