We are pleased to announce that during October, November and into December our Guild members will be setting up space on a Thursday at Chapel Arts to demonstrate their crafts.

Venue:  the main gallery of Chapel Arts.
Demonstration from 11am to 3.00 / 3.30pm

Maker’s work is available from the Guild at 51 shop on the first floor of Chapel Arts.

Sally Davis – Jewellery  

Sally will be demonstrating the magic of enamelling brooches using enamel powders and heating in a kiln until melted.

As the days shorten and winter approaches turn your mind to the warmth of hearth & home and the gentle serenity of candlelight. These porcelain tea lights are the perfect showcase for this light and also make lovely objects during the day.

Liz Lippiatt  - Textile Designer and Silk Screen Printer

Liz will demonstrate the principals of screen printing by designing and cutting paper stencils to resist stippled pigment dyes and making lavender nosegays.

Harriet St Leger - Jeweller and Enameller

Harriet will demonstrate enamelling on copper in a kiln, using hand cut stencils to make jewellery and wall panels.

Corinne is a mixed media textile artist with a strong narrative thread running through her work. She will demonstrate making ‘Fairy Godmothers’ - stitched and papier-mâché dolls made using vintage fabrics and trinket.
