I started my working life as an engineer; however a love of wood and a desire to be more creative prompted a re-assessment of life. So in 2007 I established my workshop and turned a lifelong passion into a new career. I now work to commission on both private and commercial projects and also produce individual works for exhibition and galleries.
I take my influences from a combination of Art-deco, Mid-century modernism and Japanese styling, and I firmly believe that good design is about simplicity. Craftsmanship and quality materials along with clean lines that define shape and form are inherent in any good design. Wood is a beautiful material and seldom needs surplus detail to enhance it. The beauty of a piece should be in its form and function and generally the idea that 'less is more' will stand to be true."
Showroom is situated above the workshop and is open to visitors for private views. Please call.
