Moira Buckley | Jeweller
Currently I refer to myself as a maker as I enjoy using different materials and disciplines together. So that I can create individual works that are fresh and lively, that challenge the eye.
Some of my work is wearable jewellery and other pieces are more sculptural items, but all have a narrative thread or an enquiring presence to them.
My inspiration comes from literature, songs, cabinets of curiosity, natural history, religious relics, taxidermy, the circus, amongst many others.
