My designs are modern, sculptural and clean-lined with a strong use of colour.
I enjoy the discipline and precision of using traditional jewellery making skills in silver. Marrying silver with resin allows me to use colour in a bold, dynamic way without compromising the design. It is important to me that my jewellery is lightweight and comfortable to wear.
A recurring source of inspiration is the abstract work of early and mid-century modernist sculptors and designers.
You can find my jewellery online as Quercus Silver and it is also featured in many galleries in the UK. As a member of the Association for Contemporary Jewellery I often exhibit work in their touring exhibitions which challenges me and keeps my work fresh.
I studied craft and jewellery design at Bath City College and my studio is at Bath Artists’ Studios. Visitors are welcome by appointment.
