I have been producing collections of unique knitwear and mixed media textile pieces for more than 30 years, my work is very eclectic and experimental and I have an obsession with colour and pattern.

Designs are often inspired by research into historical and ethnic costume and my collection of vintage fabrics. Ideas and inspirations are developed in sketchbooks and moodboards and I see these as an intrinsic part of my work, I love to draw – especially fashion illustrations and garment details.

I have shown my collections at Premiere Vision in Paris, New York and Milan and I produce design ranges and large inspirational textile pieces for the fashion industry.

I have sold collections to Missoni, Etro and Shrimps as well as to department stores and boutique shops all over the world.

One of my other passions is to make garments and accessories which are seen as wearable art pieces. Each item of my current collection has been made by myself and is one of a kind.

I have also been developing ideas for knitted and stitched portraits and textile art.
