Creative Hand Knitting- Make a Simple Hat or Bag with Guild member Sue Bradley www.suebradleydesign.com
Spend a creative day exploring yarns & techniques, developing ideas & inspiration for future projects. Knitwear designer Sue Bradley will bring along a range of her knit samples plus an exciting range of yarns for you to use.
Techniques covered:
- Freeform knitting using found materials.
- Fairisle & intarsia techniques
- Designing your own graph for Fairisle and motif knitting.
- Stitch techniques eg cabling, slip stitch, simple lace.
Materials & equipment will be provided but do bring along your favourite yarns to use if you wish.
