Sally's work is inspired by both her early childhood in post war London and her current life in Stroud. Her garden and the rural landscape is a current inspiration together with early experiences of seaside holidays and those long summer days of her youth.

Sally uses enamel on metal because she love the brilliancy of the coloured glass in contrast with the solidity of metal.
