Tiger pin cushion/needle holder (LW241)
Pin cushion/needle holder by Louise Watson
These little animals were inspired by the artist Mary Fedden 1915-2012. She made small lions out of scraps of fabric and thread to mark the birth of relatives and friend’s children. I made one for myself as a needle-keeper companion while I sew. Although I started with brave little lions, I then made other characters. I hope I may inspire you to make one yourself, if not these are for sale to good homes.
