The Guild at 51 is the shop and gallery space for members of the Gloucestershire Guild of Craftsmen to sell their work and showcase new pieces direct to the public. The Guild’s award-winning and internationally renowned makers offer a changing selection of jewellery, ceramics, textiles, furniture, leatherwork, glass, basketry and more, available to buy and commission. A selection of books, magazines, greetings card and gift vouchers are also available.
The Guild at 51 is adjacent to and an integral part of The Wilson, Cheltenham’s Art Gallery and Museum. Visitors can admire the stunning work in the museum’s Arts and Crafts Movement gallery featuring designer-makers such as CR Ashbee, Ernest Gimson, Michael Cardew, Phyllis Barron and then see and buy contemporary work in the same tradition in

Maker in Focus – Moments in Time
Liz Lippiatt has been a valued Member of the Gloucestershire Guild of Craftsmen since 1982. Liz is a renowned designer and printer of cloth for fashion couture and interiors, working from her studio in Stroud. Liz continues the tradition of working with textiles, in the historic textile valleys of Gloucestershire, designing and printing fine cloth – mainly silks, velvets and linen. More information here
