A Colourful Bespoke Commission

Jeweller Harriet St Leger was recently commissioned by Bristol-based artist Monica Cuellar to create a bespoke necklace.

The pendant is influenced by Monica's immersive, exuberant paintings evoking the complexity of nature.

Harriet captured the spirit of Monica's work in silver which was then engraved and enamelled using the cloisonné technique.

Below are images of Monica's original artwork, Harriet's sketch and the piece with cloisonné wires in place before enamelling.
