'Engraved' lidded jar by Annie Hewett

Dimensions - 16.5cm high

Hand thrown. Earthenware clay and coloured slips, yellow for the interiors and a cobalt slip for the outsides through which Annie will scratch, draw and cut away the coloured clay to create images reminiscent of lino-cuts or wood engravings.
