Describe your work in 3 words
Colourful, unique, cosy.
How long have you been a maker?
I have been a rug maker for 7 years. I used to be a printmaker/fine artist.
What’s the best part of your process?
Seeing the finished rug.
What’s the worst part of your process?
Glueing the backs.
Do you have a favourite book about your craft?
I am actually in the process of making a downloadable tufting instruction book, keep your eyes peeled.
What are you reading?
I am reading a graphic novel called Monica
What’s your favourite film?
Anything horror. I'm looking forward to the new '28 Years Later' film coming out later this year!
What do you listen to in your studio?
I listen to podcasts. I love 'This American Life', 'The Daily' and anything true crime.
What one thing would improve your life as a maker?
More space.
What’s the best piece of advice you have received?
Keep the faith.

How long does it take to make a rug?
Life as a maker can be challenging, would you do it all again?
I have always had the urge to make things.
