New In the Window - Winchcombe at 100!

This September, Winchcombe Pottery takes centre stage in the window of our Montpellier shop to mark its centenary.

Founded in 1926 on the site of an historic pottery dating back to the late eighteenth century, Winchcombe Pottery is among Britain’s longest-surviving craft potteries.

Founder Michael Cardew was also one of the original members of the Guild when it was formed in 1933 and the pottery continued to be a Guild member until quite recently.
