Kevin Stamper uses contemporary and traditional woodworking techniques to craft collectable boxes, mirrors and serving trays from solid wood and decorative wood veneers.  He also makes smaller pieces of furniture, such as side tables and coffee tables, all the work is completed by himself in his own workshop.

He has developed an exclusive process to hand-dye wood veneers, achieving bright and lustrous colours that are not available on the open market.  The coloured veneers are used to create the beautiful and unique marquetry designs that feature on his work.  Each piece is finished with a smooth acrylic lacquer that protects it from scratching and the fading effects of ultraviolet light.

Kevin has twice won the Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers Design Award and was presented with the New Ashgate Gallery Design Award in 2023, he is a Crafts Council Directory member, a Fellow of the Society of Designer Craftsmen, a member of the Gloucestershire Guild of Craftsmen and a member of Future Icons.  He lives and works in Malvern, Worcestershire.
