I started making jewellery in the mid 1970's in Bristol in a cooperative craft centre, and over the years I have worked with a variety of techniques, I make one off designs, do small runs of a range of designs for shops and cast small sculptural work for other artists.

Lost wax casting is the core of my business doing all my own modelling and casting. This lets me experiment and develop unusual techniques.

I take a very sculptural approach to my work and produce pieces which are three dimensional and naturalistic. I carve the designs under a microscope using a very hard wax which enables me to produce great detail. The pieces are then cast in silver, gold or bronze.

I have been teaching small monthly classes of up to four people in my workshop for a few years, for general jewellery skills and specialist techniques.
